QUALIFICATIONS FOR MOOSE LEGION MEMBERSHIP
Effective May 1, 2009, Members in good standing the Loyal Order of Moose are qualified to apply for Membership, by invitation only advising him of his eligibility in the Moose Legion once meeting the following requirements:
       1. Must be a good standing Lodge Member.
       2. Must have completed one year of Lodge Membership and,
       3. Must have sponsored at least one (1) Lodge application that has been accepted through LCL.net.

                                                      or

      1. Must be a good standing Lodge Member.
      2. Must have completed at least six (6) months of Lodge Membership, and
      3. Must have sponsored at least three (3) Lodge applications that have been accepted through LCL.net.

This now creates the eligibility for the distinction of a Moose Legionnaire to be an earned degree of the Order. And, all earned degrees of the Fraternity shall be eligible to make application to the Council of Higher Degrees.

Once a Member of the Loyal order of Moose is eligible for elevation to the Moose Legion, he becomes eligible for life. If a Moose Legionnaire is dropped and decides to reinstate he does not have to qualify since he is merely paying back dues. If a Member has been dropped from the Moose Legion rolls and has passed the 24 month timeline required for reinstatement of his Moose Legion Membership, he may reenroll in the Moose Legion without need of any further requalification other than having been a Moose Legionnaire.

The Moose Legion Secretary will receive a listing of Moose Legion Candidates within his jurisdiction within thirty (30) days of each candidates eligibility. Upon receipt of this list , the Moose Legion Secretary should then copy the applicable names to each Assistant Secretary representing each Moose Lodge within that Moose Legion Jurisdiction.

Sponsor credits will be given for new and former Members with points awarded toward the Membership Medal of Honor and Elite Moose Legion Ring as have been established.

A Moose Legionnaire may hold Memberships in multiple Moose Legions even though he has no Moose Lodge affiliation within those additional Moose Legion jurisdictions.
Our in House Moose Legion Secretary has sent a letter to all Moose Legion Members of Pahrump Lodge 808. This letter has a suggestion for a Moose Legion Committee activity to be held monthly at our Lodge. Your input is requested so we know how many Members would be interested. Please take the time to contact Larry Marshall at (775) 910-9962 or Cal Greenleaf at (775) 727- 6465. Thank You in advance for your input. We hope this will become a regular event in our Lodge.
